“Have you guessed the riddle yet?” the Hatter said, turning to Alice again.
“No, I give it up,” Alice replied. “What’s the answer?”
“I haven’t the slightest idea,” said the Hatter.
“Nor I,” said the March Hare.
Alice sighed wearily. “I think you might do something better with the time,” she said, “than wasting it in asking riddles that have no answers.”
I started the “One Little Word” challenge last year. And as I love to make things more difficult, I decided instead of choosing a word that would direct my year, I would also make this an alphabetical challenge. Last year my word was ACTUALIZE.
Yes, I do like to complicate my life. It really would have been so much easier if I could have meditated for any word, but now I have to meditate on a specific portion of the alphabet. But this is what makes my life interesting.
As part of the AJC, we create a visual representation of this word. I was struggling with it for a few weeks, but am quite pleased with how this turned out.
This is my third year in the Art Journal Caravan. I’m committing to completing one page per month, even though we have weekly itineraries.
If I can complete more, YAY! If not, I’m going to be pleased with 12 pages.
Last year I created four. Two of them were even chosen as gallery standouts. I was over the moon about it.
This is my submission for the Angel challenge from Art Take a Word Challenge.
